 The reason your "fix" has not been applied is that it is in fact not
 correct. First of all the namespace of body at that point in the code
 given your example message is 'vcard-temp:x:update' not
 'http://jabber.org/protocol/chatstates' as you commented, and the fact
 that the <body/> tag is not in the jabber:client namespace is a bug. This
 is an issue in the Google Talk client that we can't fix. Therefore it is
 up to Google to fix this. And we don't as a rule use the 'Priority' field
 of a ticket so raising it would not have the effect you want.
