 I believe that menu is handled entirely by GTK+ and we know nothing about
 the selection, if that is the case then there is nothing we can do about
 it. You can see if you can bind a key to the input methods of your choice
 by hovering over the menu items and hitting the key you want bound to it.
 If this doesn't work in that menu you should try in a normal pidgin menu
 to determine if you have that feature on, if it doesn't work in a normal
 menu then you need to read and follow the directions at
 http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Using%20Pidgin#HowdoIbindkeystrokestomenuitems
 and then try again.
