 Confirming behavior on Windows Vista and Ubuntu Gutsy. Behavior on Ubuntu:
 Throughout I get lots of GTK_IS_ENTRY failures, and when the disconnect
 happens, I get the destruction of 0x0010 oscar connection, disconnect
 reason 4, or "Connection timed out". I am then unable to open *any* chats
 ("chatnav exists, creating room" shows up, but then nothing happens).
 There may be two separate issues at work here, since on Linux I merely got
 a timeout due to extended inactivity, but I was still unable to rejoin the
 chat room.

 I am under a hardware firewall but not an HTTP proxy, so that should make
 this distinct from #2896

 At risk of moving into advocacy, this is a quite annoying bug, especially
 the fact that you need to restart before you can join the room again.
