 I travel for my work.  My webcam is my link to my children.  Do you have
 kids?  Do you know how life-changing it is for me to be able to see their
 faces and tell them stories at night and act silly with them via webcams?
 Webcams are not just for all of the masses of people showing their
 unclothed bodies - although that's also fine by me.

 Kopete and YahooIM (for windows) both have webcam support.  For me, my
 webcam is the first piece of technology that I can think of in years that
 has made a huge, tangible change for the better in my family's quality of
 life.
