 I was using a version of gaim when I noticed that my aim conversations
 were no longer being logged despite the fact that logging was enabled.

 I then upgraded to the pidgin program and found that I am having the same
 problem. Logging is enabled, both in the preferences menu and in the box
 itself, but no log is being created.
