 I have the same problem in both Windows and Linux Pidgin, except it's even
 weirder. I can set a 23.7KB, 304x304 PNG as my icon on three of my
 accounts, but I can't set a 10.5KB, 64x64 PNG for one of my other
 accounts.

 I've had similar troubles with small PNGs while the 23.7KB PNG has always
 worked. No idea why - maybe it's how I saved the PNGs or something.
