 Yeah, I've got the same problem.  I've got a big LCD TV to the left of the
 desk, and Pidgin always puts new windows on the TV, which makes it very
 difficult to use seeing as the TV is usually turned off or on a TV
 station.  The TV is not the primary display, and Pidgin is the only
 software I have that ever puts windows on it.
