Comment (by otis):

 Is there any progress on this? I've found out that sometimes (don't know
 for what reasons), in function timestamp_new_convo in file
 pidgin/plugins/timestamp.c conv, gtk_conv or gtk_conv->imhtml is NULL
 causing pidgin to crash.
