 My situation is identical with ticket #576. However, the ticket is set to
 "fixed" as of version 2.1, an I have the problem resurected in version
 2.2.2.

 "moving ICQ buddies around between groups (by dragging them) forces
 authentication request to be sent again, unnecessarily"

 Additionally, if I cancel the authorisation request, the contact seems to
 dissapear. Actually it gets "unathorised" status, and is usually hidden
 along with the "offline buddies".
