Comment:

 You're trying to use Pidgin 2.3.0 with the libpurple from 2.2.2.

 I'm assuming you're building 2.3.0 from source and that 2.2.2 was
 installed from a package, in which case, it'll probably work (after you've
 run `ldconfig` as root) and you remove the 2.2.2 package.
