 When I connect to the msn network using (win)pidgin 2.3.0 my alias isn't
 the one that is in the server (and I don't have any Local Alias set). When
 I start a conversation my name appears to me as one of my contacts,
 although the person on the other side sees the correct one.


 E.g.:
 My server name is 'nuno'
 I don't have a Local Alias set (in account details) so that I can see the
 server name. This was pidgin behaviour until 2.2.2 .

 When I start pidgin 2.3.0 and talk to someone my alias is equal to one of
 my contacts (and changes as new buddies sign in). So instead of 'nuno' I
 see 'John', then 'Jack' then 'Caroline', etc... They always see 'nuno' but
 that's annoying.
 If I set the msn account Local Alias I see what I put there, BUT the names
 keep changing in Accounts->MSN Account->Set Friendly Name.
