 Test case:
  * Set a chat room as persistent.
  * Join it.
  * Close it.
  * Join it again.
  * Close, join, ...

 In the nicklist of that room, the number of entries with my nick increases
 after each subsequent join.[[BR]]
 This is observed on Sametime, have no idea if it applies to other
 protocols.
