 This used to work fine prior to version 2.3.0.

 Steps to reproduce:
 1. Set Hide new IM conversations to Always
 2. Enable History plugin
 3. Have some contact IM a new message

 The problem is that rather than having the recent conversation on top in
 the history section like it did in prior versions (with the new IMs below
 the separator), the history section includes the new conversation IMs.
