 I've given up altogether on using the MyspaceIM, but I'll just throw out
 the fact that my reported fix didn't actually work. As soon as I closed
 and reopened Pidgin, the myspace buddies had moved back to the group I
 moved them from. Very odd. I haven't tried it in any of the more recent
 versions.
