 I am using pidgin with following setting:
   OS: Windows XP,
   Version: 2.2.0,
   Plugins: Enabled,
   SSL: SSL support is present,
   GTK+ Runtime: 2.10.13,
   Glib Runtime: 2.12.12

 I have set http proxy at global level for using AIM & XMPP protocols
 behind the firewall at my office. However, everytime I restart pidgin, it
 retains only 'HTTP' as the proxy mode, but removes the details of the
 proxy host & port.

 This I have started facing after I upgraded from pidgin 2.0 to 2.2.
