 I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the way the preferences, or my
 plugin is configured, but recently I'll set up an away message, either on
 the spot or by selecting one I've used before. But I'll find that once I
 go idle, my status and the message sent to users who contact me is changed
 to my idle message.
