IDLE SETTINGS
Preferences, Status/Idle
Report Idle Time: Based on keyboard or mouse use
Auto-reply: when both away and idle
[checked] Change status when idle
Minutes before becoming idle: 10
Change status to: Idle (I have a saved message)
PLUGINS
Autoreply 2.0.0 is installed, I've tried both enabled and disabled, no
resolution.
Plugin Configurations:
Send Auto Reply:
[checked] when my account is away
[checked] when my account is idle
Status Message
Autoreply with status message: always when there is a status message
This happens whenever I change my status, whether it's from away to
another away message, or from available to away.
I see the message in the buddy list window at the bottom (where you select
what status you're changing to and input the message below it), and I have
my own screen name in my buddy list. The correct away message shows up in
both.
However by the time I return from wherever I've been after being away for
a while, I'll come back and notice in the conversations, that my idle
message has been sent as an auto-away instead of the message I wanted to
be displayed and sent.
I've also noticed that immediately after I select my away message and the
buddy list and all conversations automatically minimize, if I receive an
IM shortly after the correct status message will be sent to them. But If
for some reason I go back to my buddy list or the conversation after the
message is set, this idle override behavior happens.
I'm sorry if this isn't clear, or if I've not included something else
you'd like to know. I will do my best to provide you with whatever you
need to help clarify, if it's necessary.
