 When dragging an image for a direct connect, if you aren't already
 directly connected, you end up sending a blank message to your buddy, and
 then you are told you aren't connected. (bad)

 Instead you should be prompted to directly connect upon trying to send a
 message that requires a direct connection. (better)

 I made some mock ups.
