 I cannot change my buddy icon through pidgin 2.2.1 on Linux.  I CAN change
 it through gmail, and both the web-based and windows-based official Google
 Talk clients.  Pidgin shows the old icon in my buddy list but the new icon
 in the account list.  I've tried changing it using both the global icon
 and the per-account icon.  I've tried deleting the icon through gmail.  No
 results, pidgin cannot change it.  Originally reported here,
