 I'm an External user for Sametime.  That means I'm a contractor who has
 created a MyIBM profile and can access the Sametime external server from a
 web portal at ibm.com

 Using the web portal, Sametime will allow you to add either Sametime or
 External community users.  Because I am an external user, my IBM buddies
 need to be added as External community users using their IBM email
 address.

 Once added using the web interface, my buddies appear just fine in Pidgin.
 However, when I try to add a Sametime buddy in Pidgin, I get an error.

 Need the eability to pick either Sametime or External communities when
 adding a buddy in Sametime.
