 It seems to be working!  :-)  I had to recompile everything in the yahoo
 folder.
 One strange thing is that when I drag images into pidgin, I only have the
 option of saving it as a buddy icon - no option to transfer it like I can
 with other file types.
 Anyway, I don't think it's related to this change.
