 I'm Pidgin 2.2.0 user and confirm the problem of duplicating XMPP-
 contacts. I've added some attachments as a proof.

 I have an idea how to close this bug. Before adding new contact to certain
 account pidgin must check, if this contact has already been added to the
 account and restrict adding if it has.
