 I was going to start a new ticket but this is close enough. What Pidgin
 really needs is a raw console window. Perhaps something similar to
 colloquy for OSX. The console is not open by default but can be opened.
 This way you can keep the BEAUTIFUL Pidgin interface and fall back to
 something a little more technical when you need it. There should be a
 different console for each server and should pass any command to the
 server without need to use /quote IMO.
