 I just found out that - sometimes - the first 2 haracters are stripped
 from messages I send to another pidgin-user (over the MSN protocol).

 See screenshot. The one on the right is my log, the one on the left, the
 other user's.

 "hun må..." became "n må..."[[BR]]
 "ja - ny" became "- ny"[[BR]]
 "huh?" became "h?"[[BR]]
 ":)" became ""[[BR]]

 We couldn't reproduce this error using Windows Live Messenger, so I
 suppose it's a Pidgin-problem?
