 At least you could remember it (really!) for the next Google Summer of
 Code, to provide a code basis for further work on it.

 At least that should be considered.

 And +1 to iwkse - at least lets say "it would be nice to have that, lets
 look if someone would do this, lets questioning around" instead of "who
 needs a/v? forget it!".

 And yes, there are existing implementations, so there is some code you can
 use (in Ekiga or Kopete).
