 How to recreate the bug:
 1. Use Windows XP SP2.
 2. Install japanese keyboard with IME Standard setting (needs the ease
 asian support. Then restart, etc).
 3. Open an IRC window in pidgin.
 4. Start writing hiragana.
 The hiraganas and kanjis are displayed on the top of the window, not in
 the editbox, as it should be (till they are acceppted).
