 Yes, same for me. I use pidgin to connect to MSN, and everybody there
 seems to use very long nicknames (when it's not colored or other things),
 plus they change it often so it's really annoying to know who's who.

 I don't want that remote nicknames display are disabled by default, but
 I'd like to be able to disable then and use the im ID (or alias when set).
