Comment:

 I've got a 1,700 user install base of Pidgin going whose primary use is of
 Jabber MUC.  Constantly informing them on how to turn this on is getting
 old :) Seems like having this enabled is no different than having it as
 default for private chat.  Most users probably only do private chat?

 My hearts not broken either way, just didn't see this in Trac and thought
 I would at least get it on record as to why its off.
