Comment:

 This is how smileys work. They're always sent as text and then the other
 side gets a smiley if their client supports converting that string of
 text. Yes, MSN has custom smileys, but we don't currently support sending
 them. There's some work that's been done on them, but I'm not sure that
 it's anywhere near finished at this point.

 Which smiley in particular is causing this problem?
