Comment:

 Plugins can now add menus to the docklet menu, so I think that would be a
 better approach to this. If I saw a good implementation of this as a
 plugin, I think we could consider including it in pidgin or merging the
 behavior directly into the docklet. I'm going to close this ticket as
 "won't fix".
