 I use 852x480 almost all the time with my 480p projector. I have these
 issues too. The preferences dialog in 2.2.2 now goes off the bottom of the
 screen too hiding the OK button.
 This is made worse by the fact that GTK/Pidgin does not use Windows-
 standard return-fires-the-default-button-which-is-OK that makes these too-
 big dialogs useable in native apps.
