 I'm not sure this is a bug anywhere, bonjour connections are temporary
 that is they only last as long as the messaging session does. pidgin seems
 to consider a messaging session as being equivalent to a conversation (or
 the lifetime of a conversation window) while empathy/telepathy-salut seems
 to have a much smaller timeout on the connection (and thus on the
 messaging session). pidgin is telling you that the other person ended the
 messaging session, pidgin and empathy just seem to disagree on what that
 should mean. I would suggest talking to the empathy/telepathy-salut people
 and seeing what they have to say about this. Personally, I think there
 should never be *any* "closed the window" notifications on any protocol
 ever, but some people seem to really like it.
