 Hello

 when I tried to run configure, I got this error message:

 "configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
 See `config.log' for more details."

 This is the result of the config.log file:

 "/usr/bin/uname -p = unknown
 /bin/uname -X     = unknown"

 I'm running Intel duo-core.  Is it possible that the processor is too new
 and not yet recognized by the source code?

 What can I do in the meantime?
