 Thank you. I tried your C-f fix in my ~/.purple/gtkrc-2.0 file and it
 still doesn't work. And FYI, this "problem" occurs only in the
 conversation message field - all other input fields in pidgin seem to work
 fine. Anyways, this shouldn't be a huge problem. There's always C-e to
 move beyond the last character :). Thanks again.
