 What I'm suggesting is a way to correct your spelling without reiterating
 parts of the conversation. I know there is a spell checker that operates
 in the typing area, but some people type without looking at the screen,
 and realise after they've sent the message that it contains typos. Even if
 all you could do was right click on red-underlined words and pick a
 spelling suggestion and update the word in both clients that would be
 really handy.

 I know in the 2nd use case it just resends the messages, but I suggested
 this since there is no way for the pidgin developers to put this
 functionality into other messenger clients.

 Fair enough if you think the current spell checking is sufficient, but I
 wouldn't blow this idea off as redundant; it does provide extra handy
 functionality.
