 In my personal usage of Pidgin, I frequently find myself in a position
 where I have several individual/separate IMs in progress, that are somehow
 all related (even if they didn't start out that way). This results in the
 need for a combined conference/chat of all those folks. This happens
 several times per day.

 What would make this easier to handle would be if I could simply drag-and-
 drop one person's tab on top of another to instantly create a new chat
 room with both of those users instantly invited. Further additions to this
 new chat could be handled in the same manner. If I want to invite "Fred"
 to the chat, and I already have an IM session going with "Fred", I should
 be able to simply drag-and-drop the "Fred" tab onto the existing chat to
 send an invitation. Similarly, it would be nice to be able to drag-and-
 drop users from the Buddy List onto an existing chat to send an instant
 invitation.

 This would be quite a bit quicker and easier than going through the menu
 progression that is currently required to create a chat, and invite new
 participants. It may not seem like much, but if you have to get 10 people
 into a chat, and you are 5 minutes away from a very important phone call
 or meeting, the current system can seem glacially slow and cumbersome.

 As far as I know, no IM client currently does this (I might be wrong about
 that, though). If that is true, and unless I'm the only one who sees value
 in this design, this could be a nice little differentiator for Pidgin. I
 know it's a feature that *I* would use regularly! The faster I can create
 a chat room (which also means not being forced to answer a bunch of
 prompts for each addition to the chat), the more productive I can be.
 Hopefully, I'm not the only one that's true for!
