 Since i've upgraded to pidgin 2.2.1 (it came with Gutsy) i noticed i'm no
 longer able to see channel topics in IRC. When someone changes a topic
 while i'm in the channel, i see it like this:

 [12:00] Nickname has changed the topic to: New Topic

 That's it though, it doesn't show up at the top of the screen anymore, not
 when i join or re-join, i never get to see them. And as a channel-
 operator, it used to be really simple to edit a topic; simply overwrite it
 in the textbox at the top of the channel window. But it's all gone..

 I'm solely connecting to quakenet.org and visiting the same channels as
 before. Used to be fine under gaim (with feisty) but since the upgrade i
 haven't seen any topics anymore.

 I'm using gaim/pidgin mostly for IRC. I hope this gets fixed, assuming
 it's related to the upgrade :)
