 I am using Gentoo Linux with KDE and the gtk-engines-qt package for
 styling GTK apps with the QT theme, and this is not an issue for me.
 Hovering on the dropdown simply causes a button hover effect. This is
 probably an OS theme related thing, but may be a case of Pidgin using the
 wrong GTK settings or something.
