 Totally agree. This is highly annoying!

 It does not make sense to "disable" an account when a user logs in from
 elsewhere. The user is not asking for the account to be disabled, rather
 the program should acknowledge that the chat session(s) is/are detached
 from the client. The client should then offer a one click button to
 reattach the chat session(s). Currently the program behaves in an
 illogical and frustrating way.

 This gets me every single day, at least twice a day as I move between work
 and home and log into MSN, it drives me nuts!!

 Please don't underestimate the impact of usability bugs like this, they
 make Pidgin seem like it is clunky, slow and out-dated.
