 The instance name is often used to group together messages on the same
 topic when there are multiple on-going conversations in the same zephyr
 class.  For lower-traffic classes, the instance is usually left at the
 default, "PERSONAL".  I would like to change the formatting of messages
 received from a zephyr class from the current
   username instancename:
 to
   [instancename] username:
 because it visually aligns messages sent to the same instance and
 associates the sender more closely with the message.  Furthermore, an
 instance of "PERSONAL" should not be displayed, so that zephyr classes
 resemble group chats in other protocols when instances are not in use.

 I've included a patch which produces this behavior.
