 I use blue text on a white background. I find sometimes that while typing
 a longer message, I need to interrupt myself and send a short message, and
 resume typing the longer one. I cut out my first message, type a new one,
 and paste the old one back and continue.

 In 2.1.1 (and, I thought, 2.1 also?) if I select all and cut my text (^A,
 ^X) and then paste it back in, the pasted text is blue as it should be but
 when I continue typing, I get black text from that point on.

 I imagine this is another manifestation of the same, slightly troublesome
 bug.
