 Starting today, I noticed that within 10 seconds of starting pidgin (if
 AIM is set to auto connect) or of enabling my AIM account, pidgin crashes,
 citing liboscar.dll.

 It's happening on both my home desktop and my work laptop. Same effect on
 both. One the rare occasion where AIM does work for a few seconds, i can
 IM myself on that protocol and all is well, but it then crashes.
