 Hello Deryni!
 Well i did what you said and it got solved!
 I tried almost all themes and it worked ok with most of them except with
 one called "MS-Windows" that already came with the install.

 So i looked arround and found a theme called GTK-Wimp, that i downloaded
 from their site and installed. I must say the look is pretty much the same
 AND HAS the same bug than the "MS-Windows" one so i'm assuming its the
 same, so looks like that the problem resides only on the theme. [good for
 you ;)]

 So now i'm in the process of finding a new theme that i like, to use in
 Pidgin.
