Comment:

 It doesn't make sense to change the buddy's name, as you're right that
 it's, essentially, removing the existing buddy and creating a new one.
 Everything that makes sense to edit on a buddy should already be in the
 context menu. If you have a specific other feature, please file a new
 ticket.
