Comment:

 With XMPP having/getting soon currently-playing support, we've been
 talking about needing a generic way to do this. It seems there are three
 parts:

 1. We should use status attributes to store a title and an optional artist
 and optional album.
 2. We should have a core API for setting these attributes.
 3. The core API should be exported to DBus in some reasonable way. This
 needs to be something that matches the DBus idioms and may need to be
 better than our automatic C-to-DBus translation.
