 I do not know what is wrong with it, how to fix it, or what developer is
 looking at this.  I have already offered my assistance if I could be told
 what to look at or what to do and neither the creator of Meanwhile nor the
 Pidgin developers have bothered to respond.

 Simply speaking - if your company uses a Sametime 7.5 server then you are
 out of luck as far as user status reporting goes.  Sometimes it works,
 most times it doesn't.  In my case and for most other people we've had to
 revert back to the junky Sametime client just so that we can see who's
 online and who's not.

 If anyone who is responsible for the meanwhile portion of the app sees
 this or someone who knows the person or something - then please look at
 the stuff that has been posted in ticket 58 and let me and others know if
 we can test something or if you have a chunk of code that needs to be
 looked at.
