 That's not really what I'm trying to achieve. I thought of that, though,
 for the time being.

 There are times I choose the "SwitchUser" command to get out of my desktop
 and back to the user login screen (rundll32.exe user32.dll,
 LockWorkstation). That is the same as if I'm away, basically, 'cause when
 I'm idle for 15 minutes, my system locks the workstation.

 So, maybe my request should state that I'm looking for Pidgin to detect a
 locked workstation and, thus, state that I'm away. It works that way under
 Trillian. I'm not sure if the IBM Sametime client reports on a Locked
 Workstation upon a workstation lock.
