 I am unable to set my own away message to something longer than a sentence
 or two (>250 characters perhaps as was suggested earlier in the thread??).
 It does not show up when I add myself to my own buddy list or when I get
 info myself on someone else's computer.  I see other people's away
 messages just fine as far as I know on my buddylist.
