 Hi,

 I'm running Pidgin 2.2.0 on Windows XP SP2.

 Using the GTalk application, I can connect and have full functionality.

 However, when I setup the Google account on Pidgin, I keep getting a
 Windows socket error 10061.
 My domain is 'gmail.com' and server is 'talk.google.com' (defaults).
 I've tried all combinations of the three security options in Advanced tab
 (SSL, plain text, old SSL), but nothing seems to get me connected.

 As I said, using the official GTalk application works like a charm.
