 With a few modifications, the patch seems to apply perfectly to latest
 MSNP14 branch in MTN....only thing that stops its flawless compilation is
 that

 line, which, I'm afraid, is probably the core line for the sending
 function....commenting it shuts away gtksmiley.h and gtksmiley.c
 files....thus, Pidgin compiles and works (you can even see the custom
 smileys among those to choose from), yet sending does not work (buddies
 can't see the custom smiley, so I guess it's not being sent at all).
